The point of being creative is that you don’t have to do things ‘correctly’ all the time. ;)

Fair enough when they're creative. i'm not saying they're all bad and I do think they can be done very well (I quite like their use in sports/action shots). Though when you see several Fisheye photos of a pair of Trainers that all look identical, each with 75 million reblogs, it kind of makes you lose all hope for humanity.

The worst ones are those where they've not even used the correct lens or attachment but, instead, have tried to manipulate the image in photoshop to obtain a similar effect.
