Arr, I do know what you mean like, too many people jumping on the ‘this item is popular content on Tumblr’ + ‘fisheye is instant popularity’ = ‘I am pro & famous now’. Content should never be for’t sake of gaining notes, notes should be bonus :(

I'd prefer actual comments and feedback over notes/reblogs any day. That's why I link all my own photos to their individual Flickr pages.
